Particle size distribution

  • Determination of the particle size distribution by a laser granulometer mastersizer Malvern® 3000 (dry and wet technology). It can be measured in dry form, in water or in ethanol. Particle size distribution is important for powder flowability, stability in solution, mouthfeel, instant properties and processability.

  • Morphologi G3 (Malvern®) : morphogranulometer able to determine particles size and shape from 0.5 μm to several millimeters in dry powders and wet samples. Making data even richer than the laser granulometer, this characterizing tool is a versatile R&D instrument allowing a very fine characterization of your samples and improving the optimization of the processes. In addition to particle size, the shape of a particle can determine its flowability, mouthfeel and instant properties. A morphological particle size analyser can analyse particle shape to better understand its behaviour.
